You will be part of an evaluation
team comprised of four students.
Together your team will work through a
"Wired Safety" Internet tutorial titled
"Drive-by Top 20 + 1." This tutorial will
illustrate the wide range of information
available online and the need to evalu-
ate the quality of the information you
encounter. Your teacher will pro- vide a
worksheet to accompany the tutorial.
Go to:   Wired Safety -- Evaluating
Websites: Criteria and Techniques
After viewing the tutorial and dis-
cussing the worksheet, your group will
choose
SIX sites from the resource list
below. Each group member will choose
the specialty he or she would like to
represent and will complete the accom-
panying evaluation sheet for each site.
     Go to the
RESOURCES page to copy
and paste your specialist questionnaire
into a Word document.  Fill in your
answers & then print. Be prepared to
share your information with your group.
After discussing your findings, your
group will write a sum- mary evaluation
of each of the six sites.
